Portland is where the heart is. . .
First post for 2007 and since I live so far from everyone, I'm sure I'll keep up on it more.
I moved to Portland. I've been here for a week and a half and am having some trouble finding a job. I tried to transfer to Urban, but they'll only give me two days a week, boo! I only know a few people, which is weird because I'm used to being in a place where I know everyone.
I hang out with Jamie, Itsa and Britany the most, which is awesome. Saw the Dear Whoever kids at their show, which was cool but don't know them that well. (Re)met Jockrock's friend Mark and his gf Meaghan and they seem awesome, just havnen't hung out yet. Then I know Brenton, and I've almost never hung out with him, but I've known him for years and years because he's Valentine's ex and one thing Valentines exs have in common is they're all really rad guys. So thats less than ten people that I know in Portland.
I'm really excited for school to start and to start meeting more people. Or even getting a job so I can afford to go out more.
Jamie and I move in with Britany this weekend, so I'm excited for that, although I don't have any money for rent haha.
Starting over isn't as easy as it used to be. . .or isn't as easy when Valentine lets you live with her.
Plus side, some vancouver/seattle kids came down the other night to hang out with me! ok ok they came for a show, but it was a very awesome hang out. And I went to Seattle last week to hang out with Riquel and Jim
