Script advice

Jun 09, 2008 19:26

So, I finished my first script at the end of the semester - I wrote a spec script for "Bones" and am pretty happy with how it turned out. Got me an A in the class, at least.

Now that the class is over, though, I'm missing the insights all the peer critiques provided (we did group readings and critiques of 30 pages of each student's scripts). I want/need to mark this as finished so I can move on to the pilot that's stuck in my head, but there's still half a script that no-one but me has really even looked at (well, my prof did, but he hasn't mailed the commentary back yet).

I know some of you folks have written scripts for classes - did any of you go any further with it? Got any ideas about who I could have take a peek at it? Are there websites (free, b/c I've heard that most critiques you pay for aren't worth the ink) that do that kind of thing?

Are you a fan of "Bones"? want to take a look and tell me what you think of it? I really am hoping for this to be a strong part of my portfolio, so any and all critiques are welcome. I'm not fishing for compliments (although they will be accepted, too), I really want to hammer this into the best script I can.
