Twin Cities Fashion Weekend: MPLS Fashionistas Style Show
October has always been a month for dressing up, but before you make the usual trip to some musty thrift store to assemble a cheap costume you'll have to explain to everyone at the party anyway, stretch your pennies this year and rock your Elvira wig, questionable chiffon gown, or green glitter eyelashes one weekend early at the first annual Twin Cities Fashion Weekend. From the same crew that organizes the always-entertaining Voltage: Fashion Amplified runway shows, TCFW highlights will include the fashion crawl to local boutiques like Cliché, Local Motion, Robot Love, and Exile, as well as the Attitude City party on Saturday (where you're asked to dress like a twin), and the long-awaited Coffin Candy exhibit by Minneapolis expatriate and accessories queen Shannon Schafer.
