I don't suppose that any of my Lord of the Rings fandom peeps from way back are still lurking around? I mean, anyone can join me in boggling at whatever the flip is going on here, but it might be more meaningful to my old LOTR buddies.

(It undoubtedly doesn't help that I don't watch the show.)
