I seem to have done something right.
So today is the final county test for my B day kids. My third period class is with me today for A.E. They are studying since period three is right after that. In one group they are competing for candy and I I hear them shouting out "Gandhi was a lawyer!" "Darit means "children of God" "No! Harijan means children of God, Darit means "the oppressed! HA!" In another group they are discussing the economic impact of the changing ties between the world's two most populous nations. Another kid is yelling out "Confucius was from China, it was Buddhism that spread from India" "Did that spread from Silk Road?" "Oh, oh, what's the word for that when cultures mingles?" "Cultural Diffusion!!" "Oh Yeah!"
It goes on and on. I am quite pleased with them.
