an update? wow.
wow it's actually been forever since i've updated.. field hockey actually owns my life at this point in time, not that im not really excited for this season. I'm waiting on hearing from college coaches since today's July 1st and whatnot, and apparently that means they can start actually making calls to upcoming seniors. It would actually be amazing to know early where i was going to college so i wouldn't have to worry about it.. but who knows.
anyhow, the past few weeks have been spent at fh camps, first at scranton with the princeton coach, second in massachusettes with various coaches, and lastly here in good ol' lehman with maine and providence. The first camp was nice bc i loved the coaches, the second was uneventful(although the goalie coach hated me for some reason, and will be arriving in lehman sometime soon to do our louisville camp, yay) and the third was just really laid back. I did enjoy the third, however, since it was mostly all lehman girls(well, minus amanda, who was on vacation, traci who left early for va beach to play in nft's, and allison who was forced to stop playing because she broke her jaw) and im really excited about playing together and everything, and the coaches were sooo easy going. as i was saying, allison somehow managed to break her jaw the second or third day at camp, but did, through the gushing blood, apologize for not wearing a mouth guard. hopefully shes back playing soon.
what else... steve left for florida for 1983409 days on wednesday. damn him and his unending vacations. so today, i laid around and enjoyed not having to do anything. it was reallllly nice. but it would definitely get old fast. conditioning tomorrow morning, no sleeping in.. could be a bad thing but it's probably for the best. im on some really screwed up sleep pattern and i slept last night from 10-2, was awake from 2-5 and then slept more from 5-11. kind of strange.. oh well.
that's enough of an update for me. maybe ill try again some time soon.
