I'm almost portable.
I broke down and bought a laptop. A green one.
Yeah, I paid the extra $30 to get it green. If it was free, I wouldn't have hesitated- but Chris talked me into it because he knew it would make me happy. It's not like he had to twist my arm, though.
I was really excited because it was supposed to ship yesterday, but I hacked into Chris' email to check the tracking and it won't ship til the 10th. (And by hacked I mean the auto-correct filled everything in. To be nice, I cleaned out all his junkmail.)
When the laptop arrives, I will be signing up for Quickbooks certification classes online. I am excited about this as it should be fairly easy for me, and in the end should boost my hourly pay rate up about $3-$5. Not too shabby.
I care less about the pay raise and more about actually having a job, though. I've been at home for about a month now, and I'd just like a reason to put on pants in the morning, lol.
In other news, Christopher is 2 now. I will post pictures of his birthday later. :)
