Well, I assume none of you are on pins and needles waiting to hear about my life. I mean, most of you are in it almost everyday so it really shouldn't matter too much... ;o)
So, here's a quick breakdown of what's happened in the last few months:
- I am in my Senior year at Agnes Scott College
- I am the Residence Hall Director of Walters First-Year housing
- I was Black Cat Chair for all of Black Cat (in case you missed it, Black Cat is like Homecoming)
- The Seniors won Black Cat duh!
- I got accepted to do an internship with Adult Swim's Promotions Marketing department at Cartoon Network
- My family and I spent Christmas in Sidney, Iowa
- I turned 22
- Got ready for my last semester as a college student (eek!)
- I hated on Valentine's Day (as we all know, it's my least favorite day of the year)
So, now you know.
Currently, I'm at work. Although, as it's rather obvious, I'm not really working very hard today. I'm waiting for approval for some spots that are supposed to air next week. But otherwise, I'm just doing research. Keepin' it real. You know how we do.
Also, I wanted to let everyone know what promotions that I've been working on (that I can let you know about anyways). As you all know, I can't always talk about what I've been working on since it is sensitive information (I feel like I get to be a secret keeper) but the things I can tell you about are things that you would see if you were watching TV in the first place. I mean, I could be mean and tempt you all with what I could possibly be doing, but that would be too mean. So here are two spots that I've been helping with that you can see on Adult Swim right now (or they've passed)
1) Adult Swim hoodie with Kia Motors (airs the week of Valentine's Day)
2) Jumper sneak peek (aired 2/13)
Pretty cool, right? Also, I'm working on a project by myself that will be airing the first week of March. But you'll have to hear more about that later... ;o)
Other than that, I'm holdin' it down here and freezing my butt off (it's really cold in here) and getting ready to head out to the GA/AL border for a little shindig this weekend.
I feel so busy with my life lately; I can't think of a free weekend that I have until Spring Break. This weekend, I'll be in GA/AL but I'll get back on Sunday to hang out with the Pope (right?) and go to a Mortar Board meeting. Then next weekend, we have the Children's Show (The Princess and the Pea... you should go!) and I think the Lahue will be coming down from NC to hang out with us cool people. Then the weekend after that is Spring Break and I will be bored out of my mind as everyone is apparently leaving to go to New York or something. (Damn theater kids...kidding, kidding!) So I'll be hanging out in Walters (eh.) and possibly visiting the familia in Snellville as I will likely want to eat something other than Chick-fil-a since we know that I can't cook real food in a microwave (not to mention I'm not a great cook in the first place). Oh well. It's the price to pay in order to try and get a job!
