Here's what went down...
I realized that I haven't posted in a month. So, here's a recap:
1) Spring Break:
Spring Break, we went to New York City! It was amazingly fun and I had a great time! We saw like 400-million shows: Wicked, Avenue Q, Hairspray, Les MIserables, A Chorus Line, Company, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Spamalot. That's quite a few shows if you think about it. I also went to a couple of art museums and we went to Times Square nearly everyday. It was fun, but after that week, I was ready for it to be over.
2) Return from Spring Break:
It was hell: elections, dealing with problems from elections, papers, homework, reading, thinking about my future at Agnes (i.e. schedule). But, I found out that I got RD of Walters (yay) and I have a great staff for next year. Also, I got into Kijua's program for talking about diversity. I was really glad about that! But now I'm waiting to find out about Mortar Board...
3) Capping:
Capping was so much fun. I was always overly concerned with displeasing my Cappers, but they seemed to not mind too much. My cappers were Katie O'Brien, Christy Byrd, Christy Powers and Clare Stucke. They were so nice to us and let me tell you, I appreciated that they were really nice. I'm really sore from the secret events that occured, but I am glad that it's over. Now I'm waiting to find out if I got onto Pestle Board, but I think tha my chances are pretty good: I don't think that I pissed anyone off and I also don't think that I was in any way insubordinate and I didn't complain other than that my costume smelled funny, but I'm pretty sure that everyone's costume smelled like Thrift Store! It was all in all a great time!
And now I'm at home working on some work for the Art Tours that we're doing for President Kiss' inauguration. It's so great to be home and I am loving this weather: 70s, windy but beautiful.
