I HAVE A NEW CAR!
During winter break, we discussed getting a new car for me, and it was decided that over the summer that's what we'd do. Me and my mom started car shopping today. We were totally not expecting to buy a car, but that's what we did! We found a good deal, good financing, I like the car, and yeah we were planning on looking at several dealers, but we weren't going to find anything much better than this, so we ended up buying it.
It's a silver 2008 Toyota Corolla. 3 things it's going to take me a while to get used to: it actually has a back, it's not like a station wagon that ends where the rear window is; it's a lot more sensitive than my old car, as in the gas and the brakes (not a bad thing, just different); and the gas thing is on the driver's side, that's going to take me months to remember lol.
It gets much better gas mileage than my old car, which is cool.

However.
I'm paying for this BY MYSELF. Which scares the shit out of me. My parents are helping out for the first few months once school starts until everything gets settled and I get my budget all figured out, but I signed for the car and the loan all by myself.
Holy fuck.
But it should last for a long time, so it'll all hopefully work out/be worth it.
