(no subject)
God I hate 495. I only ever hit traffic there. There's a certain place where 2 lanes merge onto the highway, which always backs up because people are either dumbfucks or assholes or both about merging. But today it was bumper-to-bumper FOR AN HOUR. FOR NO APPARENT REASON. There was evidence of construction but nothing that would have caused that, and it was before rush hour. It took me almost 3 hours just to get to 95, which is how long the whole trip usually takes. Gah I'm just glad I'm home. Yummy food and my kitty loves me :D And of course I get to sleep in my own bed.
Someone finally put up a working link to yesterday's Supernatural finale. HOLY SHIT. Damn the angels are assholes. Dean's quote "Angel or not I will stab you in your face" from a couple episodes ago still applies. omg I can't believe the season is over. I'll probably rewatch season 1 in a few weeks when I start having DeanSupernatural withdrawal :p
Also, the Lost finale? *flail* omfg. There are no words. So much stuff happened and we were finally getting answers and it was so crazy and then it ended and it's like aaaahhhh don't end now but omg I'm still processing everything that happened and...holy crap. Season 6 will be the final season, which is good, because if they stretched it out much longer it would stop being such a good show. I want to rewatch the beginning of the show but it's so much effort.

^ that was all written last night before I went to bed, and for whatever reason didn't get posted, and I'm too lazy to edit it, so yeah, on to today.
We were in New Hampshire all day today for my grandfather's memorial service, and ended up staying an extra half hour at my nana's house to watch the Preakness, much to my sister's dismay lol. We turned the tv on literally right before the race, so I didn't hear any of the talk about the horses beforehand or anything. At the Kentucky Derby a couple people mentioned a filly who was really big who didn't make it into the Derby because she'd just raced like the week before or something, but she was in the Preakness and SHE WON!! She's the first filly to win it in like 83 years or something. The Derby winner came in 2nd, however he was closing in on her fast and if it was 1 1/4 miles like the Derby (instead of 1 1/16 miles) he totally would have caught her and won. He did the same thing he did in the Derby, came from like 8 or 10 lengths back and just blew by everybody. BUT she's a great horse to be in front almost the whole way and hold off all the colts until the very end. So that was exciting :D
aaaand I think suspicious and spanish_silver have officially gone insane. But of course I love you anyway XD
