I LOVE VICKY. SO MUCH. She asked for my address at the book group meeting on Tuesday, said she had a book she wanted to send me, but I totally wasn't expecting Bloodhound, Tamora Pierce's new book! It's an advance copy, obviously, it doesn't come out until April, but I guess as soon as she got it she thought of me. When I opened the package and saw what book it was, I'm not kidding, I squealed and did a happy dance :D
I also got a couple of promising advance copies from the meeting, including the next Firebirds anthology. I have the first one, and went out and bought the second one today :p
So grades are posted. I managed to pull off an A- in my mythology class, which is awesome, I thought I might get a B. I also managed go get a B in English 200, which is good. And I already knew I got a B in anatomy and an A in chem. Other than that I got an A in Dean's Book (*grumbles* I better, stupid class is a waste of time).
:D I got all the stuff to make my cosplay today. Shirt, tunic, breeches. I found really good cloth for the shirt, and I hope the pants turn out okay. The tunic is relatively simple, I barely need a pattern to make it. Now I just have to get a badger's claw off eBay and I'll be all set. Oh yeah, and I need to find something for a belt. eh, that'll be easy. I'm SO excited for NYCC!
