(no subject)
They've replaced the directer of Twilight, but unfortunately they picked the guy who directed the Golden Compass. 'Cause, you know, he already has such a great track record for adapting books into movies.
Anyway, the role of Jacob is up in the air, thank god, please replace that kid. One of the main guys they're looking at is Michael Copon. DAMN. If they cast him I will watch that movie for him. *crosses fingers*
Also, Ben Barnes, aka Prince Caspian, is going after the role of Aro (the head Volturi who can read minds). Well, New Moon is looking much better now :p It'll still be epic fail, but at least there will be hot guys to distract us! :D (no, I do not think RPatz is hot)
So, really I could go home as soon as I finish my essay, since we got power back Tuesday morning (and by we I mean at home), but of course it had to snow, then rain, making the roads a mess, and even though the highway probably is fine, the traffic will be ridiculous. So I'm going home tomorrow. WHY?! It's my birthday, damn it! I want to be home for my birthday (technically I will be, but I'm not fully functional after a 3.5 hour drive)
Can't wait for NYCC! I'm officially cosplaying as Daine, from Tamora Pierce's Immortals series. BECAUSE TAMORA PIERCE WILL BE THERE! I'm so excited!
The hardest parts of the costume are the boots and the badger claw, but I found both online for much less than I thought ($35 boots at Target, of all places :p and like $10 for the claw on ebay), so it's definitely on. I'm making the shirt and tunic over break, so my mom can help me with it :D
Also, the Avatar meet will be hilarious.
