Oregon, Bon Jovi, and Dany
I know I've been back awhile, but haven't had much time to post.
I had a fabulous time in Oregon. Friday Dany and I had dinner at Gustav's and relaxed at her place. I was still getting over a cold, so it was nice to stay in.
Saturday was great. I got to see the remodeled ACT and then we went to Riley's to meet up with a bunch of friends. So much fun. I really miss a lot of people and it was great to talk with them. We closed down the place, as usual.
Sunday Dany and I drove to our hotel in Portland to get ready for Bon Jovi! I have wanted to see him in concert since I was in middle school. They've always been a favorite band of mine and I'm so happy I finally saw them. It was a great show. He didn't play my favorite song (Lay Your Hands on Me), but did a lot of his other old stuff. I wanted a souvenir, but I'm not paying $100 for a sweatshirt. The worker at the Sharks game last night told me to check online because they're cheaper, but we'll see. Dany and I made some friends on the train back to the hotel and kept each other up giggling and making trouble until around 4 am.
Monday it was back home. I really miss Dany. She's going to try to make a trip here this summer. Maybe we'll find another great concert!
