So I told you all about using the Rainbow Loom to help with some problems, I've also figured out it can help with panic attacks...assuming one happens where I can conceivably use it. Which isn't many places unless I want to carry a twelve inch (at least) loom with me everywhere. Which is why I should've been kept away from the computer Monday ( Read more... )

I'll let you know how things go. Her daughter and I have given up trying to teach her as she tends to blame all problems on the computer or us. What prompted all this was she wanted to get a book at B&N yesterday. She looked at the website and they said they have it. But she didn't specify the Wilmington store which didn't actually have it and rather than accepting the blame for not being specific, she blamed the computer and went on a bit of a tirade about how computers are 'evil' etc... And she really needs to learn how to use one as she desperately wants to leave McDonalds (it has apparently really gotten horribly bad since I quit and they switched managers) but pretty much everywhere now does online applications and she can't seem to figure out how to do those. And her daughter and I can't always do them for her. Plus she somehow has no idea how to check her e-mail. Funny thing is, I'm almost entirely self-taught on the computer. I have asked for help from online friends before, but I never had a 'teacher' nor did I ever have a book either. Some people just develop a mental block, I guess.

Are you sure you aren't talking about my mother? It sounds just like her except for the McDonald's part.
