So here we go again. Chaos reigns, and the school year is about to start once again. Life has been its typical roller coaster of ups and downs, with crazy training schedules, summer conferences, paper writing, friends visiting, and friends leaving. A bunch of friends from undergrad visited recently, so that was great to see everyone, when I could get away from res life stuff. Before that was Las Vegas and Angela's last hoorah before med school. She's leaving for Chicago friday :( We've also had a lot of turnover in res life - just as I was getting used to one set of people, they all get new jobs and there's a whole new group of people to get to know. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but doable. after we open the halls, life should get a lot easier. It's just getting there that might kill you. Some days I just want to focus on school and forget the rest of the world and its problems and issues.
I wonder if I will actually finish my PhD in this century.
I'll be helping TA an american political thought class during the lunch hour t/th, so that should be fun and intellectually stimulating.
