I need to take a moment and sing the praises of my partner. If you're pregnant, you couldn't do much better than to have a babydaddy like mine. I'm so proud of what a good father I know he's going to be. Here are just a few of the things he does for me:
Oh, there's more. But he's really the best and I'm so blessed.
- Rubs my swollen feet
- Rubs cocoa butter lotion on me each night and does stretch mark look-out duty (so far so good)
- Has such a true and honest appreciation for my pregnant body, I never have to feel self-conscious (very handy on a hot day)
- Fetches things for me when I don't want to get up
- Repainted our bedroom
- Makes me take my prenatal vitamin every night
- Has a boundless pride and excitement about the baby-to-be
- Attends all doctor's appointments with me (you'd think that would be a given but many men don't do it)
- Always on "get-me-the-Tums" duty
- Doesn't drink alcohol in front of me
- Remembers cravings I've mentioned when he goes to the grocery
