I've been meaning to write a big, long Christmas entry but still haven't gotten around to it so I will make this announcement:
Dan asked me to marry him and of course, I said yes. He gave me a beautiful (Canadian) diamond ring, which I will post pictures of later...
(And almost equally exciting for me, we bought a couch yesterday which will be delivered next week.... Goodbye and good riddance to the black metal futon!)
