It's beginning to look a lot like...
Christmas! ... or as Christmas-y as it can get here in Orlando.
I've been getting really excited about it lately. Maybe it's all the peppermint coffee I've been drinking; artificial candy cane flavor + caffeine = one hyperactive Shan, ready to mack on some presents :D
I won't have money to buy gifts this year (sob), but I'm looking forward to everything else... the decorations, the music, the food, the atmosphere, all the corny little pop culture icons that go along with it. I already saw Santa in the mall and lol, he must have been spending a lot of time in Brooklyn. He wasn't getting too much business either so he kept waving at my friends and I every time we walked past.
I don't know what it is about this year... I'm usually from the "one holiday at a time, willikers!!" school of thought, but I was ready for Halloween in September and now I'm ready for Christmas before Thanksgiving. Idk what it is.
One of the main things I'm looking forward to while I'm living with my family in December (and I am mostly fearing this, heh) is putting up the decorations together and watching all the Christmas specials on TV. It'll be just like old times~ :'D But I really really hope that it'll be drama-free... for some reason there's always some huge fight between my mom and I at Christmastime.
I want a fun holiday season this time! Anything to tide me over while I'm squirming in my seat to get to Tampa :) ... and there I go mentioning it again.

Just to spur conversation: anything special that you plan to do for the holidays this year? What will you be asking Santa for? :3
