I realized today that I hadn't posted a picture of the most recent dress I made. It is based off the
Kragelund gown recovered from Kragelund Bog in Jutland, and dated to late 12th or very early 13th c. CE.
I made mine from linen, and made the belt and trim via tablet weaving. The photos aren't the prettiest, but here's what it looks like:

It's a little bit wonky in one or two places, but I'm pleased with the pattern, over all. I used light blue, dark blue, and cream-coloured wool on a sample pattern from
Card Weaving.
