Some updates about my life:
I got a summer internship at Microsoft. I've actually gotten offers with two teams that both work on
Microsoft Dynamics AX as an SDET. Nan Li and Tito Rodi are both working there over the summer as well, so I won't be alone at all. Nan and I are supposed to get a pad together with another kid nanJa knows. My interview with MS was pretty sweet, I had a lunch interview at red robin, and then three two-hour interviews in bldg. 110 on the Redmond campus. I had all day on Saturday to do touristy stuff. I ate at the 5 spot, this little diner on Queen Anne Ave., and then had a mexican hot chocolate (2 shots of espresso + chili syrup) at a cafe called El Diablo. I drove out to Boeing and toured their factory, which btw is the largest building in the world, by volume. I ate in pioneer square, and then headed for the airport. I couldn't sleep a wink on the plane because I was so wired. I had six cups of coffee on Saturday. You have to understand, I don't usually drink caffeine. They got back to me about the offers yesterday while I was in class, which is WAY sooner than I expected.
Me and F. Cakes and Strubs are going in together on a place for next year. hopefully off south campus / in the fenway area. I just have to get it through amy's head that we are in fact $eriou$ about getting a place.
Vista is installed on all the computers at work, including the one I'm typing on now. It runs really slow and all kinds of things don't work right. I mostly just remote into my
always-on box that lives in my dorm room. That rig has been crashing about twice weekly, though, and so I'm thinking about installing the legit version of XP SP2 I got from MSDNAA. (sign up for CS101. download software. drop CS101.)
Sharkey hasn't destroyed the big screen or the 360 or the wii yet. All of those are courtesy of P'rick (who got a pay cut recently and so isn't mr. moneybags anymore). Well, Sharkey did spray glow-stick goo all over the common room, including the TV, but that's not very noticeable.
