HP
So today I saw HP 5 on IMAX. The visuals were bloody awesome, and the 3-D actually didn't suck. I think it was worth the 15 bucks.
In the morning I met Jaime before going with the others to central park. Volleyball was fun, but I don't get how she had 97 in PE when she sucked worse than I did (the same teacher gave me a 75, wtf mate?)
After we had lunch and Jaime wasted 2 bucks on a healthier looking version of the school hotdogs on the usual overpriced stand in Manhattan. We got to IMAX an hour early and the line had already started, the show had been sold out and then Jaime spent another 4.50 on Coke that we didn't even finish and which gave me a slight toothache.
There were actually no 15-minute commercials and things when straight to the movie. I don't get how the film-makers shorten everything as the pages of the books get longer. So the plot was as lackluster as the last few movies, but the giant screen and surround sound made up for it.
An of course, the actors.
I think I'm starting to actually like Snape, the deadpanning over Umbridge interrogations was priceless. Even Umbridge herself was really amusing.
Bellatrix was loonlilicious, and the Weasley twins were awesome as always.
:"I KILLED SIRIUS BLACK, WOOOO!!!"
The emotional value was rather non-existent, I was bawling by the end of the 5th book, but when Sirius died here, I felt next to nothing.
All in all it was immensely entertaining, as long as your mindset is searching for some deeper meaning. Thinking is a no-no *nods*

Rupert Grint was to be at FAO Schwarz today, and we were only there last week. booooo

Ugly HP dolls that cost nearly 200 dollars, each.
More overpriced candy. I could get the same thing near my mall at half the price.
Anyways, living in NY is actually fun when you go places and blow shitloads of money that your parents yell at you for.
I want to be a be a Harry/Ron shipper now xD. The pair is like, so much better than Harry/Draco and Snape/Harry (I still don't get where they came up with that...)
