It's official. We have lost him-gone, good bye adios. Lost to the depths or heights, depending on your perspective. Enraptured by the higher power that at one time or another all of us glimpse, it's just that most of us don't pay too much attention to it for fear of diving in headfirst and being swallowed and consumed up to our toes. How can you blame him though, really? It isn't as though he has seen anything like this well... ever, hopefully anyway, prognosis is good, but time is the only true teller of tales. The tales of love, life , loss, learning and of course peanut butter and jelly sandwiches- the kind cut into little sailboat shapes with the crusts removed. Perhaps that pie in the sky does exist, will Ben be the one to see it first and come back to tell us of his adventures? Will we sit, legs crossed, arms akimbo around the campfire as he casts a misty-eyed spell with the enthralling pictures-in-words of a land far far away? Until then we will sit in dark rooms in front of the fuzzy television screen with frozen pizza and six ( ... )

i like to consider myself more along the lines of a child who thinks that one day he will fly, as he flaps his arms, sprinting as fast as he can while staring up into the sky of blue... imagination soaring as he thinks he'll be able to fly with the birds and giggling the whole time he does it.

is it probably he will ever fly by flapping his arms... no...

but he is having one hell of a excited blast and roudy good time while he tries.

will i ever acheive that?

probably not... but i'm going to have one hell of an amazingly fun time trying.

wow...

yeah, i think the best response to that from me is summed up in "wow" and "hmmmmm..."

you definitely have the potential to be an awesome dad... of your ONLY TWO kids. : )
(but of course, if you accidently have more than 2, your parenting skills will suck.)
; )
