Initiate....The Killchain
I kinda needed to update. I went back to my old routine of checking everyone elses live journal cept for mine, also it was more or less urging for ms. wood that drove me to this.
This week was probably the most stressful this summer, it went like this: show - Ann Arbor, work, show - Battle Creek (did'nt get back till almost 5) work, Show - Otisville. All the shows were good, except for the last one on saturday. We stood outside all day in the hot ass sun, then played in the hot ass sun...gee people wonder why i don't like the fucking sun or heat, it's shit like that right there. I got sunburned like a mother fucker, and on top of all that we had to pay for our water. Most people would'nt mind paying for water, cept for the people that had to play. Now any other place we play we get free water at least. Even the broke ass Flint Local can provide water for the bands playing. It was a rip off, good thing it was only 20 minutes away.
I must apologize to all the people i was short with this week, as you can read above it has'nt been the best (the shows were cool, but that only adds up to like a hour and a half of good times) Today (sunday) was my first day off from everything, work, band...whatever else, just dealing with people in general gets on your nerves. On the plus side though my parents are gone all this week till next saturday. I'm not working all this week, it sucks and then again it does'nt. It's pretty much a full week off from everything. We're still gonna practice and what not, but we need to. We're gonna be working on new material to throw in the set list.
We have a show in Grand Rapids tomorrow. Another nice 2 hour drive, but on the plus side we get to play at another cool club on the west side of the state. After the show we're gonna head over to the Intersection to meet up with our manager to check out the show and hang out with a few of the bands (Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Soilwork) then practice the next day.
I'm gonna make time to hang out with other people this week. Ms. Wood you're gonna be getting the extent of my attention this week, woo! lol don't get too over excited.
Everyone should listen to the new Arch Enemy, Byzantine and maybe the Gizmachi cd for good measure.
