The Sad Tale of Captain Linger
Our show this weekend was a great success. thanks to the people that came out and made it a good one. thanks to K-Money and Matt. the Flint Death Squad. Caity and Drew for leaving and not being able to get back in....but then got back in anyways. and the cool people we met that night.
We have a last minute show at the Machine Shop on Friday, April 29th with Skincasket, Selfless, I Decay and the 2nd System
Anyone thats not 18 can go to the Local on May 7th. better sound system and better stage, so theres no reason not to go! plus a new song is on the way. woo!
I can feel this summer being shitty. i wanna get the fuck out of this state and away from alot of the people that just fucking suck. I'm seriously gonna take out a loan from the bank so we can play shows all the time this summer. that's probably where im most at peace. When we played those shows up in Marquette, that was just awesome. just hanging out with the band. playing some shows. talking to all sorts of awesome people that really enjoy what you do. i just love meeting new people at shows. girls, guys, midgets, cats, dogs. does'nt really matter, as long as they got some sort of enjoyment out of what we do then my goal is completed.
I remember not too long ago i used to be depressed about not having a girl friend/significant other or whatever. but you know what? i don't care anymore. i like certain people but in the end nothing really goes my way. i think i need someone that's got a personality more like me. that'd probably the only way i could be happy with another person. So if anyone knows a girl that's a true metal fan. a non-drug user. a non-slut. and someone that does'nt mind me playing Halo till 4 in the morning. then let me know! lol.
sorry for that rant. my mood got better as i wrote that. thats all for now. so listen to the new NIN cd, then throw in Bleed the Sky and The Agony Scene for good measure whilest im not here. later.
