As part of the runup discussion on feminism over at statements that caused the creation of
shangy_feminism, the subject of social pressure versus self-determinism came up.
This post over on Alas! a blog, which I personally consider one of the better feminist blogs out there, deals with something called the "authentic yes" and "authentic no", specifically as regards sexual decision making. I found it quite thought-provoking and wanted to share it here.
