lost about 100GB of stuff that i was too stupid/lazy to back up
My computer's hard drive failed out of nowhere yesterday. This computer was only 6 months old. I have no idea what the hell I'm doing that destroys my computers so quickly. I've connected my laptop to my normal monitor and keyboard until I can get it fixed or get a new one, which won't be for a very long time, especially since I just bought a nice little 19" ~high definition~ TV. (This is the first one I'll have ever seen outside a store or briefly at a friend's house, woo.)
Well, whatever, I could have it a lot worse than I do, technology-wise. But it's still incredibly unfair that companies are allowed to sell $600 computers that suddenly stop working after only 6 months.
