I liked Sam's health kick thing, because that's what you do, you kind of convince yourself that if you do everything you're meant to do and more that you'll have some control and feel a little better even though it might not do a damn thing.
I enjoyed Josh, even though I love Sam/Jess and should rightfully hate him for kissing Sam when he's taken. Just his observations about Sam being weird about food and how often he sneezes (and Sam being all blasé and that's just life) and how Sam tastes and his totally wrong idea that Sam and Dean don't get along.
And then Dean and his disdainful references to "some SUV with a bumper sticker about saving the environment" (I can never get enough of people ragging on college kid hypocrisy) and "ManJess".
Other favourite Dean bits:
"he doesn't love that they booted him out here to sleep on some nasty fucking couch so their beauty sleep wouldn't be interrupted by his kid not fucking breathing"
“Jesus, stop ogling Sam and let's go.”
"No, fuck this, we're not having any pity parties for Sam, okay? He's afraid of clowns and I didn't have time to special-order a cake that won't kill him."
“Inhalers. Pills. So stop fucking drama queening, all right? You have asthma, it's very exciting, we're all very impressed.”
And of course Marco Polo with the sneezing and snwheezing (and John cuddling him, because John had to have been tender to his sick kid at some point). You are just so good at little evocative details, it's one of my favourite things about your fics.

I imagine John was really great with little kid sick Sam, because that was before Sam got all combative and complicated, and I also think John probably blames the fire for Sam's asthma in the first place (something I keep trying to work in to fics that keeps getting cut) so there's guilt and sadness there and just really epic sympathy for the kid.
