You slay me, woman <3 That last sentence! Also, Sam 'loving' Lucy and Mike just somehow emphasizes just how horrible hell must have been, how much the angels must have screwed with Sam's head. And taking something Sam liked intimately, being tied up, and making it into torture... yeah, that's hell, alright.

I imagine this fic is kind of what passes for normal for the boys in the few months after hell, yeah? It had that feeling, 'cause there were scenes like this in other fics before, and this is like a throwback to What Normalcy Used To Be - Now With Hell Additions!

yep :) all in all they're doing okay. sam's good at talking about stuff and dean's even better at listening. if only sam would stop getting sick. AH WELL.

there's one coming up where sam talks a LOT about his relationship with michael and lucifer. it...is not happy.

I wonder how Sam would be if he didn't have Dean there after hell...

'if only sam would stop getting sick.' isn't that kind of like saying 'if only the world would stop turning'? XD

can't remember which one that was. i hope so! lol. but they rarely do.

oh, he will not stop getting sick. and dean will always be there. THAT IS THE VERSE, AFTER ALL.

although there is a fic that's aaaalmost done where dean has to go and he leaves sam with cas. it is not happy.

There was no part of this that I didn't love. Sammy on cough syrup is just adorable. I love the way they're settling into a new sense of what's 'normal' for them, and I love how the banter is kinda different, and yet just the same. I love your boys so, soooo much! Also, that last sentence slayed me completely. Wonderful fic.

There it is: joy. Amazing they can do it, amazing you can make me believe it, but undeniable.

Do hellhounds go to Hell? Do bad dogs go to Hell until they turn into hellhounds? I love the way Sam's mind wanders. He scares Dean until it hurts, but Dean loves him.

It was both sweet and sad, in that amazing way you mix the two. *big hugs and caribou coffee for you and the boys*
