I've made this 3 times.
Once,I've actually boiled the shrimp.
I did not season the shrimp.
Shrimp with Penne Rigate
1lb.Shrimp
1/2 boxPenne Rigate pasta.
1 jar Sauce Either Spaghetti,Marinara,or whatever.
Spices(optional)
Cheeses(optional)
Boil water in large pot.(Not sure what size pot I use)
Add Penne Rigate.
While that is cooking,peel shrimp,devein if necessary.
In large frying pan,melt butter.(Or I Can't Believe it's not Butter,or warm cooking oil,or use cooking sherry)
Add half of the shrimp.Cook thoroughly.Not too long.
Drain,then cook other half.Drain that,too.
Check pasta.If done,drain.Leave in colander.
If any liquid remains in pan,empty carefully,into empty can if you have one.If not,use what you can,but do not use plastic or glass.
Pour sauce into pan.
If you are gonna add spices,do it now.
I use a dash of Cayenne Pepper,a dash of Paprika,a pinch of salt,a dash of black pepper,some Parsley Flakes(if you have fresh,use it.),a dash of garlic powder(seriously optional).
Mix in with sauce,add shrimp.
Pour pasta into the large pot you did the pasta in,or large bowl.
Pour in shrimp and sauce.
Mix all together. Add cheese(s)
Enjoy.
