Jet lag owns me

Got back wednesday night to Jax. The plane left Detroit late so I arrived late. Went to sleep at like 2:30 and woke up at like 14:20 this afternoon. Dang I slept for half a day! Ate breakfast/lunch/brunch/whatever at like 17:25. Watched some Harry Potter 3 at home. I know, I'm bad. Now I have to sort through all of my mail: GaTech, junk, FSU Welcome Pack (wth?), UF Welcome Pack (wth?), selective service, report card (curse you Heggood!), and more.

This whole time zone business is like time travel since I left Tokyo-Narita at like 16:30 and arrived in Detroit at 12:30...right. And I also noticed that all of China is under one time zone which is odd.

Some of the movies I saw on the plane on the way to and from:

Mona Lisa Smile (Groan! Tried to sleep through it.)
Peter Pan (Okay.)
The Big Bounce (Terrible.)

Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (Groan! Tried to sleep through it.)
Paycheck (Alright. Though tried to sleep through it.)
Scooby Doo 2 (Pretty decent. More like the cartoon, thus I think it's better than the first.)

Remaining days in Shanghai

Went to People's Square, Huaihai Lu, and Xujiahui. Actually, I practically went to Xujiahui everyday in order to catch buses to go elsewhere. Sis's birthday was on the 14th. Happy Birthday! Went to Mister Donut. Pricey. Went to Dong Fang Ming Zhu on thursday the 17th. It was pretty nice. Second time to Pudong (First being the Bund ride that led to Pudong). Shanghai Science and Technology Museum on the 20th. Lots of cool fun stuff to play with that involved physics. Got a new pair of glasses that protect against computers (100 RMB). Another cheap haircut. Picked up some CDs (BoA, S.H.E., Ayu, Hikki, etc) and DVDs/VCDs (Love Actually, My Sassy Girl, The Day After Tomorrow, So Close, etc). Went bowling again (96, my highest.. i'm a rookie) and played more pool. Cousin returned from college in Singapore on the 22nd. Said goodbyes and left early Wednesday morning on the 23rd.

Oh and when I was at the Great Wall at Beijing, the ride down was fun! Little carts down a long chute.

[EDIT: converted 5:25 to international time]
