Strasbourg, the ECHR, what is it good for?
The UK may quit the ECHR. Considering how useless it is, who would notice? As with the EU it began as a dream and ended as a nightmare. The ECHR stands in the way of Britain implementing policies which would curtail illegal immigration. Strasbourg was never popular with the Conservatives. How important are human rights at Westminster?
