So why'd you come home to this faithless town?

I stood in line in Follett's today, watching everyone trudge through the rain, gearing up for the upcoming quarter. Coming back to the loneliness and sadness and malice that Athens comprises for me makes me wonder why I'm coming back. And then I remind myself that I have no other option, because I have so many people to remind myself not to disappoint. They don't obligate me in any way, but I obligate myself with them if that makes any sense.

The people that I have been able to spend time with during break have kept me grounded and sane, thanks a bunch to every one of you.

Everybody's gone
They left the television screaming that the radio's on
Someone stole my shoes
But there's a couple of bananas and a bottle of booze
Oh, well happy new year's baby
We could probably fix it if we clean it up all day
Or we could simply pack our bags
And catch a plane to Barcelona 'cause this city's a drag
I may take a holiday in Spain
Leave my wings behind me
Flush my worries down the drain
And fly away to somewhere new
Take a holiday in Spain
Leave my wings behind me
Drive this little girl insane
Fly away to someone new
Fly away to someone new
Fly away to someone new

I'm crazy about you, tell me why?
