Upcoming Songs

Sorry I’ve been a little remiss about writing here this month. A lot of things tumbling around in my head, not much time to sit down and share them with you.
I just wanted to let you know that it is really difficult to find good, quality, fast tempoed worship songs. I’ve been working diligently for several months to find fast songs that have good lyrics, have nice arrangements, and are reasonably easy to sing for most people. There’s a lot great of medium tempoed and slow tempoed music out there, and I have it coming out of my ears in our church’s library.
Fortunately, I did come across a few this weekend - 2 fast, 2 medium, 1 slow - that I do believe are anointed songs and we’ll be introducing them over the next few months.
- A Mighty Fortress - Christy Nockels (not the traditional hymn)
- Marvelous Light - Charlie Hall
- Glory To God Forever - Steve Fee
- All Because of Jesus - Steve Fee
- Since the World Began - Mac Powell
These are all excellent songs. Let me take a moment and remind everyone who reads my blog from my church that you can always bring your suggestions to me and I will sit down, listen to them and see if they will work for us as a church.
