Juggling for a vacation
I finally listened to all of the new Fiery Furnaces record. It's a bit dense. I like it, of course. However, it's not the easiest listen.
It's almost the 4th of July, which means that the summers dwindling. It reminds me of another Fiery Furnaces song: "July the 3rd, we stayed up late and thought how long we'd have to wait."
This has not been the best summer. It's my first summer as a real person. I don't think that being a real person suits me very well.
The other day, a homeless man asked, "You ready for the 4th?"
I lied and said that I was.
