Finished the first three books of this series. Liked book one, book two was ok but had plot holes and characters clutching the idiot ball, and book three was meh.
Book two, Yesterday's Hero, is probably the book that annoyed my the most. The author wanted to get his lead character someplace, and he COULD have done it via writing & plot. Instead he has the rest of the cast (Literally. EVERY OTHER MAIN CHARACTER.) suddenly clutch the Idiot Ball and disbelieve him and act OOC from the first book. Not gonna spoil it if you wanna read, but WOW is it weird.
So basically, they are a library read, don't buy 'em, pretty much.
