Buying SF & Comics
Finally tracked down White Dwarf Books downtown. Good selection of SF though the store is a bit cramped. Bought a few Star Trek novels: the first IKS Gorkon book, SD Perry's Rising Son and the DS9 Millennium trilogy book one. Walked up Broadway a bit & found a used bookstore with even more Trek, including parts 2,3 of Millennium and DS9 novel Saratoga. I also bought Badlands parts one & two.
Got a few new manga earlier this week: K-On #1 and the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-chan. Both are very cute, though I liked Haruhi-chan better. VERY funny.
Superman: Earth One was on sale in one store, cheap enough I was willing to get it. *lol* Not as bad as I was expecting, from the preview pages. Clark is thankfully NOT emo, just trying to figure out who he is. Story was only okay, though, not terrific. 6/10, maybe?
