oh hello, i am alive!
so it has been almost a year since i've updated this livejournal! i changed my layout and got this crazy idea to just give you guys an update on how everything has been going with me since that's why you guys have still friended this journal, right? haha. let the updating begin!
schoolwise: who knew sophomore year was so hard? -_- every teacher decides to assign an hour of homework and i am NOT superwoman (contrary to popular belief) i've been working my butt off (well...first marking period anyways) and managed to pull off a 3.84 gpa. i also managed a B- in my AP US history class! his grading is tough, especially with essays -_-. i hate math this year. algebra II is stupid, especially when i haven't learned everything because i took geometry last year. SIGH! i managed to pull off a B+ second marking period although i'm not sure how. i despise math with a passion to be honest. the way she teaches is solely with power points -_- english and chemistry are straight, i'm getting easy A's considering it's not anything too challenging...just a lot of work. my japanese class is so annoying this year, i can't stand half of the class but at least the curriculum is actually easy...although sensei seems to be upset 85% of the time haha. oh and i take theatre this year too! it's a lot of fun although my class is filled with a lot of people who only take the class for the hell of it, so it's quite annoying. i now have health too, and rumor is she plays a video on childbirth then rewinds it, plays it again then rewinds it a second time...oh dear.
speaking of theatre! our school drama club has already done one production, a midsummer's night dream (i was the HBIC quince, cause obviously that's the main role!!!!! haha jkjk) anyways, i've learned a lot from the cast and it always feels great to be on stage. next month i have auditions for the musical you're a good man charlie brown. i hope i get the role of lucy! i'm kind of nervous because it involves singing AND dancing, but i just can't wait to get back on the stage (:
honestly, i've just really been trying to be happy (as corny as that sounds). lately there has been so much snow here in CT, to the point where last week i only had 2 days of school -_- so naturally i've been ESPECIALLY lately hahaha -_-
i've been playing left 4 dead and call of duty: black ops more than i should...to the point where i want to shoot everybody with a shotgun when i'm riding in a car at night LOL oh dear. i can't help it, it's way too much fun! i blame marina for having an easily accessible xbox and the l4d creators :(
the guy in the pictures above is my current boyfriend of 9 months (: i know please disregard the corny kissing picture but i took it recently...today actually! since he's away for school, we're long distance at times, but honestly it's not as tough as you'd think. of course i always want to be there for him and vice versa, but we always find ways to work it out. he's a great guy, and i'm glad i have him there for me. we're whacky, weird, and always laughing about absolutely nothing. although his other girlfriend is a ps3, i've learned to share hahaha -_-
