1. Miia was itching to read my Vampire Chronicles over the weekend so we came up with the best deal ever. She read while I found a stream and watched OUR RED BOYS BEING BACK AND ALL SORTS OF LOVE. The younglings ♥ Lee and Fraizer are gorgeous. Fraizer had a good game as well. Can't we keep him this season and give him some first team appearances plz? Great to see Chris and Danny.
AND THE BIG BABES. GAZFATHER I LUFFS YOU.
Cannot wait till Saturday.
2. Tampere United - FK Buducnost Podgorica 2-1 (Champions League qualifier first leg of the first round)
Goals
1-0 Niemi, 24. min
2-0 James (pen), 51. min
2-1 Beqiraj, 87. min
That last goal was just arghmehwtf. This keeps happening, us letting in a goal out of nowhere. Our defense can be very shaky at times -.- As long as they don't screw up in Montenegro, all is fine though *contemplates making sacrifices to the footie gods*
The evening and the match on the whole were wonderful. Went to the Ratina stadium really early and met up with Sanna (
em_ira), Suvi (
bepop3) and Tara (
nyseides). Saw some of the TamU players arrive by bike xDD On my way to Ratina two Buducnost players walked past me just as I was fiddling with my TamU scarf. They grinned at me and I grinned back - and giggled aloud a few seconds later *rolleyes*.
We went in as soon as the gates were opened and watched the warm-up. Lookie, girls! This is my United of the blue variety ♥
This is the only pic of the actual game I could find online. Niemi being bodychecked. Or trying to hug the poor guy.
The Hobbit (Chris James, from New Zealand) finally got to start! And he was brilliant ^____^ I think we - at least me and Suvi - had a chorus of 'awww' at him when he was substituted. I left for the bus stop just as he left the stadium and walked behind him. Tried very hard not to ogle his... well, him.
We did stay outside the stadium quite a while after the match stalking. A Buducnost Podgorica fan was talking to us, or more so to Tara since she's from Slovenia. They spoke Serbian together and it sounded very interesting and unintelligible. He was very nice *g*
The number of spectators was closer to six thousand, a really nice turn up around here, and the atmosphere was better than usually in Veikkauliiga. More nights like this, boys. Bring them to us!
3. 20legend. Congrats for the first win with the reserves, may it be the first of many, if not all. AND EEEEE BABY ELIJAH. Ole's been calling the testimonial a family day. Could the little bundle be there too? Awwwww. I can't, I can't wait.
And finally, where in the world is the man with the enticing mass of curly goodness? Has the earth in Canada swallowed him? Have crazed fangirls kidnapped him no fair I should've been told about that plan too?
