Anyone been to London that has any recommendations of fun things to do, nice places to eat that aren't a small fortune, or any other tips? I will be there for a week at Thanksgiving.

We have most of the trip planned already, but figured I'd ask.

if you have a chance take a side trip to Stonehenge. you can drive there from london in just a few hours.
Also, I REALLY loved the tate modern art museum, and the whole covet garden area.

I wish I could see Stonehenge but I don't think we will have time unfortunately. We've already planned most of the trip and I don't know if we could afford a rental car. But we are taking a side trip to Liverpool to see Beatles things and the Tate Modern has been on the agenda from the beginning. :)

As it turns out, I think we ARE goin to Stonehenge now after all. :)

it is definitely worth it!!! plus, it's a nice drive through the countryside and escape form the city.

We're actually going as part of a bus tour. We also get to visit Bath which will be pretty nice.
