Emotions are crazy things
They can build you up or tear you down without a moment's warning
They can connect you to the entire world letting you never fear love
At worse they can separate you from everyone you've ever met letting you never fly free
At times they get the best of people
Or maybe just the best of me
There's no feeling better than the one moment you realize how truly blessed you are
No feeling worse than the moment you realize you feel completely lost
How can people make something so complicated look so unbelivibly simple
The world expects us to hide how we truly feel
Everything is always okay
If you break that facade you instantly become a label
You're depressed
You're tourtured
You're part of the emo youth
You're running from society
You're running from the feeling that you're losing your youth
I'm ready to make that move
I'm ready to know who I am
I'm ready to live each day never regreting that I didn't have it all planned
I need to get out
I need to know that it's okay not to be okay (really)
Let my soul shine for all to see
Even if letting it out means people say no
The no's will never be as important as the yeses
