Short term goals update
So let's see what I have worked on. I've lost two pounds go me! I started to suck it up already. Wednesday night I went and saw this guy who goes to Wingate play at a small bar in Charlotte. He and his roommate who happens to be from Jacksonville both played. I enjoyed them the were really good. Thursday night I went out for St. Patrick's day with Cat the football coach who lives in the basement. It was alright. Went to Rira's an Irish pub downtown and then made our way down to Buckhead Saloon. It was good to get out of Wingate for the night.
Then last night I went to go see New Found Glory by myself and I rocked out like I said I would. The crowd up here was a lot rougher than the crowd in Orlando though so that kinda sucked. I took my camera to the show but not in because I thought I saw a sign that said no cameras but when I got in everyone else had them so I asked a guy I was standing if front of if he would let me back in if I ran went to get something really quick. He did so I sprinted to my car and back and as I was coming back into the club I noticed Chad from NFG standing right in front of the door. I stopped and thought oh crap what do I do and as soon as I was going to make my way over to him some girl in a short skirt and tight top ran up and ruined the moment. So I just decided to just leave and not risk not being able to get my space back instead of waiting for the slutty girl to go away. This guy next to me started flirting with me in between sets. He was cute, adorable country accent. I noticed he had and underage wristband on so I was like nevermind but kept talking to him. He asked me how old. I told him too old for him. I was thinking 19, found out he was 16!!! OMG, I felt so dirty the rest of the night especially since he wouldn't stop and kept saying no one would have to know. HAHA! Are you kidding. Just goes back to the fact that I only get hit on by way older or way younger guys. Anyways, I think I got at least one decent picture. Turns out digital cameras weren't allowed because I almost got mine taken away. I pulled the I can't here what you are saying the music is too loud move and hid in the crowd. Highlight of the night, I got a pic that Ian threw out into the crowd. Score.
I've played my guitar twice in the last three days and today I am meeting up with the only girl in my classes my age to study for a test this afternoon. She seems cool and was telling me about the local music scene the other night so maybe I will have a friend soon. So I think I am making pretty good progress right? Cool.
Oh yeah I'm coming to Palm Coast Thursday night through Sunday afternoon. I hadn't really told everyone yet cuz I was trying to figure out if I would have time to see people. I don't think I will. I talked to my mom last night and she was talking about all this stuff and she is also bringing up my nieces to see me which is awesome but it would be really selfish of me to go hang out with friends since my parent are taking off work and bringing family up so alas I will have to wait until May to see my peps again. I love you all though. MUAH!
