Watching people have the time of their life on stage
Last night was the show that I have been waiting for. Icarus came in from Duluth, and five stars for failure, four letter lie, effusion and the longshot all played at the segue in maple grove. Not only did the boys have a huge crowd they also put on a great show.
I got to see pat and trevor. I havent seen them since summer. It was a blast getting to talk to them and see them after such a long time.
I made a silly little poster for 5 stars and while they were playing levi looked over and was like what is that a poster? so yeah.. then I had to hold it up. I have no idea what they will do with it but hopefully it will be cool. I think that they should make a poster or something since four letter lie has one.. I would like them to have one as well.
Im so glad I got to see old friends and make some new ones.
At the show when 5 stars was playing I could tell that they have soo much fin on stage. Levi was all smiles the whole time. Pat from icarus was like that as well.. but he was looking at me because I was the only one who knew any words to the songs. ha.
I decided that when I am older I want to open a place where ever I am living for local bands. In coon rapids there is nothing like that. We always have to go to elk river or maple grove. I think that its good for bands to get their name out and expose kids to the music and learn to have a good time. Having shows like this keeps kids away from parties and off the streets for the duration of the show. Thats what I want to do. Keep kids safe.
