Hmmm...I don't believe I have anything really important to talk or vent about today, but we shall see what comes up in my state of boredom. I think I will talk about my college experience thus far.
Starting in summer...what a blast! I had a wonderful roommate (Danielle) who introduced me to my now good friend Lizzie!!! I lucked out with an awesome suitemate as well (Manders) who then introduced us to Mel (who by the way is now also a fab suitemate). We had some good times didn't we girls...pounders, library, PARIS, Devaneys, and of course Panera!! It took a completely wasted Lizzie to get us all to make a pact as "Friends for Life!" lol But ya know, we have been through a hell of a whole lot (good and bad) in the past 3 months alone that have brought us this close.
Some classic summer moments: Amanda and the vodka melon, Pounders and the kalua shots w/ whipped cream, ATF at Library (yikes! that was scary!), Manders peeing in Hercules parking lot, Dancing on the "stage" at Paris baby!!, Grossberg and I downing that bottle of Malibu, Shan and Manders being the only sober ones driving 9 people in Danny's durango downtown (yea, I was about to seriously injure someone), attempting to go to Club Roxy, Real World Nights, Bryan sleeping in my bed while I slept in Chris's room and the lounge (so sorry Danielle), Nike 103 2nd floor (possibly the best floor group ever to dwell in any dorm community at UCF), scaring the shit out of oursleves and trampling over that nice black girl at Skull Kingdom (haha we tricked Grossberg :)), actually that whole random night in general from Skull Kingdom to World's Largest Mcdonald's (everyone's foreign but they have the best ice cream!!) to City Walk (too bad we were 18) and finally Downtown Disney (ahh the happiest place with music and lego creatures!), our farewell to summer dinner at Hard Rock Cafe (too bad the fireworks sucked:(), and there's got to be more but those are the ones that stick out in my mind.
Now for fall...we've come to realize there's more to do on the weekends in fall than during the week which was complete opposite of summer. I guess people are smart and actually stay home to study during the week. But we have still managed to pull off some fun times in the first month... All our nights basically went from dinner (most likely panera or moe's) to andrew's for pregame then if we made it, to a bar or club.
Fall Moments: Keg Hoppin in Drew's truck, Shan completely smashed (drunk dialing, peeing in the parking lot, crying, asking for coke, yelling at Aaron, getting blamed for dropping a beer bottle, smoking hooka, sitting in the trash, and not remembering a damn thing), Drew wasted, starting parking lot fights, and jumping out his window (wish I could have seen it), Don Pablo's with everyone (including our cute waiter), Danielle hooking up with Jorge in front of Aaron (yea she da PIMP), 2 beer bottles smashed on the kitchen floor in a matter of 5 minutes, Andy Milonakis (I think it's Drew and I alone on this one), Girls' night spent eating and driving around playing truth or dare, Club Fusion (too many old, creepy guys plus way too much drama), Danielle getting followed by a cop into Pita Pit with a breathalizer, Us girls eating a whole container of cookie dough ice cream after a night of drinking, Lizzie chugging 6 beers in a matter of about 15 min (that girl knows how to put em away!), getting lost on that creepy road after Steak n' Shake, Manders and her cowgirl boots (yeehaw...all the more power to ya!), Mel being our lil mommy (thanx darlin:)), and now all our drama and heartache...plenty more to come though (good times I mean!)
And my roommate Laura...absolutely love her. It's amazing how similar our backgrounds are. I wish we hung out more, and I love her friends Bridget, Lauren, and Katie. My days usually go from waking up between 11-12, going to class, coming home and eating lunch, watching Oprah and the food network, taking a lil nap, washboard abs, going to dinner with the girls (most likely moe's or panera), if we go out, getting ready and going out, if i stay in, chilling in the dorm (or andrew's), on the computer and watching TV, then I make some time at night for homework, and stay up online til about 1 or 2. That's a day in the life right there for ya.
Ok. So this entry might not have any prolific thoughts or deep, inspiring shit but it's all I got tonight. Until next time, take care not to sweat the small stuff, have some fun, and take pleasure in the simple things!
Much Love from me to you,
Nay~Shan
