Finally home!
Well, it's been a long weekend! I'm fianlly home, and bored as usual! So, I guess I'll catch up on writing in here!
Wednesday ~ I was scheduled to work at 5:45. But because I wanted to give my grad pictures out to a few people, I went down a bit earlier. The traffic was quite bad because they were working on the old bridge. So, it took a little longer than usual to get down there. Stephenie was there and so were a few other people. We sat in the office for a bit, and then I went up to the staff room to get changed. That was when I realized that I had forgotten my work shoes! I went back down to the office and told Diana and she told me to go home and get them, but to be back by six. So, Stephenie and I ran out to the truck and started going to my house. The traffic was horrible! We didn't even get through the first lights for twenty minutes! We just sat there. Waiting. But, we made it to my house, and back to the theatre before six! When I pulled into the parking lot, the clock in the truck said 5:58. I just made it back in time! That was quite the experience! Raymond came down to visit me on my break, and we walked around the mall for a bit. I ended up getting off work early, so we went to see The Polar Express with Stephenie and Lisa. It was a good time! Except for the really annoying little kid, I thought it was a pretty cute movie! Afterwards, I drove Raymond home, and then went home to sleep!
Thursday ~ Rememberance Day! I had plans to go to the movies and watch Shark Tales with Raymond. The movie was supposed to start at 3. Or so it had said the night before when we had looked. Kyle wanted to come with us, so we went to pick up Raymond and then we all went down to the theatre. We got there around 2:30, thinking we were early, only to find out that the movie had gone in ten minutes ago! I was rather irritated. But we watched the rest of the movie and then the three of us went up to my house. Raymond stayed for supper, and then the two of us went to the theatre again and watched Shall We Dance. I liked it, I thought it was a really good movie! Even though throughout the whole thing there were a bunch of old ladies laughing really loud at things that weren't even all that funny! It was still a good time! After the movie, I drove Raymond home and then went home myself. He called me later, and we ended up talking until like 1:30 in the morning! It was a good time!!
Friday ~ I went to school, and had almost no classes. I skipped english first class because we had a subsitute, then I had a free, then bio was cancelled, and then it was recess! After recess I ended up having geography and math, but those were the only actual classes I had all day. At lunch, Anna, Amanda, and I went for a drive, trying to find Dave and Josh at work. It didn't happen, we didn't really know where to look! We went back to the school, which was a waste of time for me, because I only had law and we ended up watching a movie! Ugh. What a waste of a day! After school I walked up the hill to meet Raymond and then he came over and stayed for supper again. Amanda and Dave came over after, and we all went to Tim Hortons. When Anna got off work, we picked her up and went to the movies to watch The Polar Express again. Cicily and Joel were there, and were trying to go see Saw, but since they aren't 18, they weren't allowed in. They ended up coming in for free with us, which Raymond got in trouble for, but oh well. I don't think his mom was too mad! It was still a good time. After the movie Raymond drove me home, and then later on we talked on the phone until like 1:30 in the morning again. :)
Saturday ~ There was supposed to be a party at the camp. Which didn't end up happening. Why? Because it snowed. ALL DAY. I went to work, and the drive there was rather amusing! My Dad drove me because I'm not allowed to drive in the snow. The truck was sliding all over the place, and then when he was trying to leave the parking lot it was spinning! I was pretty amused! Anyways, I worked for the afternoon, and it was pretty dead on account of the snow. Raymond came down with his mom and was shoveling outside with Jamie until the plow guy came. There was supposed to be a birthday party, but because of the snow, it was cancelled. So when we all got off work, we took the cake and ate it in the office! It was a good time! I was supposed to come back that night to work again, but Diana said they didn't need me, so Raymond and I rented a movie and then walked to his house, in the snow. It was really cold and wet, but fun at the same time. When we were almost at his house, all the street lights went out! The power was out all around his house. It was kinda creepy! I ended up staying at his house all night, and the power never came back on until like three in the morning! The power was out at the theatre too! I wish I would have been there to see that! It would have been grand! So, because the power was out, we didn't get to watch our movie, but it was still a good time! His cousin Justin is really weird. I was laughing at him like all night! Diana came home at like 11, and they couldn't get the car in the driveway. Jason Greek ended up coming over too because the weather was too bad for him to drive home. It was like a party!! :) Except it was freezing in the house!! I was shivering like all night ... but it was still a good time!!
Sunday ~ We woke up this morning at like 8:30 and the power was on again!! :) I was supposed to go to work at 12:30, but I didn't have to go because Diana called and said the parties had been cancelled. So, I stayed at Raymond's house for the afternoon and we watched the movie and slept all afternoon! When the roads were finally plowed my Dad came and got me, and now I'm home again! This has been quite the weekend!!! It was a really good time, despite the power going out and all the snow!! I had a good time at Raymond's house!!
