staying in Victoria...

so today I found a place to live starting in January, a precious little basement suite that is basically on the ocean. yay!

but Victoria has become the size of Gig Harbor to me, because people who are cool and fun only hang out at a few select places. case in point: today at the YMCA, I ran into Allan (ahem! who still has my earrings!) and my hot married neighbour. last night I ran into my friend Jane at Starbucks and my old co-worker Katie at Irish Times Pub. everywhere I go, I am no longer anonymous, which is fine, except for this city is almost a third of a million people. something like 310,000. and last weekend at Hugo's I first ran into the manager of Darcy's Pub, who bought my girls and I a couple of tequila shots. then in the next twenty minutes I ran into the boss of the UVic pub and almost went home with him in my wasted state. hello! no good. and there is nowhere to hide in Victoria, well except for at home--right.

maybe I go out too much and meet too many guys and then meet their friends and yada. now accepting applications for girl friends! :P tonight Leah and I are going out though...Allan told me to come over and get my earrings. *hmm* time to eat pizza and drink water in preparation for yet another thrilling night. four more weeks 'til I graduate! and to Gig Harbor I go this Wednesday night for reading break!
