The day started on a bad note but that past and ended with a bang! (Part 2)

It was already really late and a few people had left. I helped Tita Noemi pass out blankets and pillows for the many people sleeping for the night. As always Kuya Jan, Phillip, Mark and Kuya Adam stayed up late along with me. While the rest of them were playing the PS2, Kuya Adam and I caught up with what’s been going on with each other’s lives. Kuya Titit and I talked for a long time too. He told me how he proposed to Nina and the way he gave her the ring. As I asked him about the wedding he told me that I was a going to be one of Nina’s brides maids along with Ate Tin Tin! I was so happy and honored when he told me that. He called Nina to come over after her work and when she came over it was fun getting to know her a bit more.

Then everyone fell asleep and it was only me, Kuya Jan and Phillip that was awake. It was already 3:00 AM so I went into Phillip’s room while Philip tried to pry Kuya Jan away from the PS2. When Phillip finally did get him to sleep he came into the room and I listened to him jam on his electric guitar. He and I couldn’t sleep for a long while so we just talked while listening to the radio.

I woke up at seven and the grown ups were already awake. I walked out to see Mark, Kuya Jan, Kuya Pao and Kuya Adam scattered all around the up stairs carpet. We then had breakfast and laughed at some home videos. I was glad that Mark slept over too; it was probably because Tito Gary made Tito Jun drink too much… Anyway, my guy cousins planned to play basketball in the morning so everyone got ready to go. While all the guys were playing a good game of basketball, Ara, Melissa, Trisha, Kuya Jan and I were their “cheerleaders.” Well, not really, we just hung around, talked and shouted funny comments here and there. We made fun of Kuya Jan so much because he didn’t want to play because he didn’t bring any shoes and none of them had shoes his size. After a couple of long hours playing basketball, Mark had to leave so we went back to Phillip’s home and we said our good byes.

Too bad he had to leave because after that we went swimming at Kuya Titit’s apartment. We packed six people (mostly girls) in his car and Kuya Adam had to pack five big guys in his car. When we arrived we hung out at his apartment for a bit while a few of them had to change. I didn’t swim though, I just hungout with Kuya Jan and Ara while the rest of them swam in the pool. We took many wacky pictures out in the pool area and then a few group pictures in his apartment before we left. It was cool to not have any parents with us. Then we came back and asked if we could go to the beach! It took a long while to convince my mom but she eventually let us. Kuya Adam drove me, Melissa, Trisha, Ara, Phillip, and Marc to Port Hueneme. It was so nice out there and breezy… Kuya Adam and I just took a stroll down the pier while the rest of them walked on the beach. We then met up with the rest of the gang and started making sand castles. We spent the rest of the time doing that. Haha, Kuya Adam was such a perfectionist, while Marc just put piles of sand together. While Marc and Kuya Adam were working together, what they made in the sand looked like the Mayon volcano and the Cagsawa church next to it. Ara, Melissa, Trisha and Phillip made a village filled with many big and little buildings with walls that looked like the Great Wall of China. Then I got the idea of having them connect their little works of art and have it become one… Lol. I wish I had a camera with me; it was so cool looking! Then we had to head back so I was counting down before we’d ruin everything. People around us must have thought we looked funny because we had a lot of fun pretending that we were monsters attacking a city like Godzilla or something.

When we arrived at the house everyone was laughing because they just watched some of our old videos. The funniest one being Melissa pretending to be J. Lo with a pillow inside her pants and dancing in front of the camera with her butt hanging out… Ah, the things we do when there’s a video camera around and we’re bored. After that I went up stairs to hang in Phillip’s room and it turned into a concert! Kuya Adam and Phillip started to play the two electric guitars together with Kuya Adam singing too. Man, the rest of us just kicked back, listened and watched. It was awesome; we were like this for hours. When we’re all together time seems to slow down and nothing else matters.

Sigh, when it was time to leave I felt sad but I was so glad that I had a great birthday. I even said that it was really one of the best birthday parties I’ve had in so long.
