One of the things on my list was ink for my printer. Now I'd rather buy it elsewhere, but that store isn't open conveniently, so I decided to buy it at Wal-Mart.

I loathe Wal-Mart. I don't go there unless it's the only place available (as at my friend's place, where that's the only shopping store around for about 50 miles). Ugh.

It's pretty much like that here now... We do have a Target, but the prices are ridiculous. And we've got something like SEVEN Wal-Marts in town.

Good grief.

I lived in a town in FL that refused to allow a Wal-Mart in their town. So Wal-Mart put up one on either end of the town just outside the city limits.

Yeah. It's ridiculous.

In NYC it's illegal to build a Wal-Mart within the bourough limits. I'm not sure why I know that (other than an evening spent looking up obscure laws when I was supposed to be studying).

I kind of like that ruling in re: Wally-world.

I thought that was awesome.

Other obscure laws? In NYC more than 3 unrelated people can not live together or it's considered a brothal. Which meant that our fraternities and soroities didn't have houses; they had floors.

It is! I wish I could remember some of the others.

We got bored one night when we were supposed to be studying.
