Writing Meta
So I'm almost halfway through the month of November and I figured I should do another update on mini_nanowrimo . In addition, maybe if I make some comments about what I'm working on and pushing towards hopefully finishing...someone might be willing to kick my ass. Or at least encourage me.
So...counts and progress bar first. I've been doing...really well so far this month. I've been sticking to my writing every day and making sure I actually break close to 500. One day I even broke 2K, that being said...I haven't actually worked on my List of Insanity...I actually need to go through and redo it because there are some things I've decided not to finish or will be re-vamping before I finish them. But I'll get to that in a bit.
First off...a new progress meter (yeah obviously I should stop using this):

And now a screen capture of my Excel sheet that I've been using to keep track of my daily progress:
Now stories for the next couple of days/weeks
1) My originalfic_las fiction is due on the 17th--I've got a tentative idea, but can't say anything more than that (rules of the comm)
2) palm__tree 's birthday is this coming week and I've got a request from her based on Luke Bryan's song "You Make Me Want To"--I've got it semi-plotted and started, I just need to write it out
3) kaitlia777 's birthday is also this coming week and she would like Sanctuary fic with Henry and Big Guy going to Comic Con...I had a start, but no plot...I would like a plot please? I've got some tentative ideas for clothing and all for the guys...but like I said I'd like to think of a bit more of a plot. Magnus mentioned its somewhere big guy can go to blend in--so maybe other abnormals do too...or possibly toss Will into the deep end with the guys since he knows nothing about comic books or anything. I can't seem to figure out where I'm going with it.
4) I've also got three other Sanctuary fics that I've started that I'd like to finish in the near future...none of which have titles, but all of which have more than 300 words in.
a) Henry and Will go hunting a killer
b) Henry and Cee
c) Sanctuary/Losers Crossover
5) I'm still working on emocezi 's Shifter Verse and have some stories either planned or in the works for that:
a) I Wasn't Looking for You (yes, I actually titled a story before I've even started it--deal with it)
b) Grace meets tiger!Steve (this is actually almost finished...I think)
c) Danny deals with tiger!Steve and Catherine (possibly)
d) I also know I need to do stories to deal with the hoa hana aspect and something else that emocezi and I know about...but that hasn't been brought up yet.
6) I would like to do something for a post I saw that will help a young girl in need, but am not sure where I want to go with the prompt. The idea is young love or first times...I was thinking (since I got the idea today on Veterans' Day) that I would do something with someone in the military...but I can't seem to think of anything. If anyone has any ideas...please throw them my way. Story is due 12/15, but I'd ideally like to get it in before then.
