Damn I tried to make it a month

Ah well. So here's a quick outline of events in the past month.

*We had the ORI, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be except Jason had to miss one day because we came home the last night home, to a big wet spot in the middle of the hallway. After yelling at Danni who didn't know how it got there (she was home all day so naturally we were like YOU LIAR) because puddles don't just appear right? Wrong, Jason opened up the closet to find the bottom of it soaked and checked the water heater to see a steady stream of water going down the side. Then the puddle started getting bigger. He spent most of that night and the next day cleaning up and buying and installing a new water heater with his dad and his uncle.

*We didn't get excellent in the MAAS but I did manage to pull off getting Superior Performer which is awesome. Out of some 260 people in both our units participating, only about 20 get Superior Performer, so like it actually means something.

*Despite some bad scores in some pretty important areas, we passed the ORI!! So that means no playing army every drill! Woo hoo!

*I'm still on orders because I haven't gotten a permanent job yet. >_<

*I've been really busy the past month, hence no updates and I haven't really done anything too special. Jason's back to regular schedule for awhile, so I actually get to see him. Before I just hung out with Danni.

*I got my pinky wacked with a racket playing racketball(sp?) on Tuesday. Though it didn't break, it hurts pretty badly typing, it was on my right hand thank God. That's a pretty important hand, but the right pinky isn't too vital for typing. P's?.;: That's about it.

*Allergy season will be coming soon, that's going to be fun.

I don't think I have much to outline anymore. On some other important notes, I applied for this job that would've started on the 3rd of April but didn't get. So that's led Jason to suggest not working and just going to school. Sounds great I guess. But I don't want to do that. For one, I don't have kids, and schools not important enough to give up the independence that comes with making your own money. Jason's the type of guy who has no problem with being the breadwinner or whatever the hell it's called, but he's also the type who would believe I had less say because I wasn't making money. He'll deny it, but I know full well that's what would happen. Marriage is a team operation, but I have to look out for myself in that aspect. Besides, I'm so not the type of woman who could just sit back and just chill. I can't do that. I may consider the school thing for the simple fact that it's really difficult to find a good paying job at my age and experience level with no degree. And by good paying I mean more than 10 bucks an hour. Even if I did, I'd still want a part time job.
I've considered that I might just be paranoid about the no say thing, but Jason proved it to me yesterday. One I'm planning a trip to Japan. I wanted to go late March, and did the math and knew I would be able to buy the ticket tomorrow. So I just had to ask Jason. Well he made a few objections, the safety objection, the money objection and some other objection I can't think of at the moment. Oh yeah that's right, we're looking into a home equity line of credit to consolidate our credit bills and to have some extra monies available. No more credit cards. It's kind of scary, but it'll save us a lot of money, and we won't have to touch the equity too much.

DAMN things get real busy around here, but I can't stay long, I just came to finish up the entry. It's nice working outside sometimes, keeps you busy.
